The Hailey Ski Team was founded in 1980. Our Main goal is to widen the opportunity of Wood River Valley youth’s participation in an athletic family oriented ski program. Our program has been designed from the beginning to be an affordable racer development program with strong parental involvement.

The Hailey Ski Team instructs, trains and coaches junior skiers in the recreational and competitive aspects of alpine skiing in the Wood River Valley. We strive to promote skiing as a lifelong sport and work closely with each athlete to help him or her achieve their personal best.

The goals of the Hailey Ski Team are three-fold. First - help each young racer in our program to maximize their personal and athletic potential by providing the best preparation, training, coaching, direction and environment possible at an affordable price. Second - instill life values such as perseverance, dedication, work ethic, sportsmanship, teamwork, responsibility and honesty. Third - promote a lifelong love of the sport of skiing.
